What's the advantage of getting a Utah non-resident permit?
Simple. It allows you to carry in more states than by having a Nevada CCW permit alone. A Nevada permit allows you to carry concealed in 18 states, including Nevada, of course. Nevada charges $100.25 for their permit. Having a non-resident Utah permit allows you to carry in 14 additional states. Utah charges $65.25 for their non-resident permit. We charge only $25.00 for the Utah course, when taken along with our full or renewal CCW course.
Now you can have two permits and can carry in 32 states.
If you read or hear claims by anyone that their training allows you to carry in more than 32 states, have them show you on the reciprocity chart how that is possible. Hint: Watch the "non-resident" exclusions closely.
