Mike Motta. Mike served as a Primary
Marksmanship Instructor (PMI) in the Marine Corps. In
civilian life, Mike served as a professional fire fighter and EMT in
Massachusetts. He continued to hone his marksmanship skills by shooting in competition pistol matches. After moving to Nevada
in 2004, Mike furthered his education
and skills by becoming an NRA certified pistol and shotgun instructor.
He now operates Semper Firearms Training Northern Nevada.

Mike is not a retail gun store clerk who sits
behind a counter during the week and teaches cut-rate CCW classes on
weekends for beer money. You wouldn't seek medical treatment on Saturday from
a guy who worked during the week as a retail medical supply clerk, would you? Alas, some people do, and they get exactly
what they pay for.
Mike carries professional firearms instructor's
liability insurance. When shopping around, and talking to other
firearms instructors, ask if they are insured. If they tell you
that it isn't necessary, think twice about them.
