In Portland, OR, a man surrounded by a hostile mob, drew his firearm to defend himself. Vindictive prosecutors in that anti-gun jurisdiction have made it their mission to see to it that the defender, Mike Strickland, will pay a high price for legally defending himself. This story sickens me.
In nearly every state, you have the right to defend yourself with deadly force if you have reasonable and imminent fear of death or great bodily harm. I ask you, the reader, if you were swarmed by an overtly hostile mob, would you not have reasonable fear of death or great bodily harm?
At Semper Firearms Training we encourage you to buy a gun, get trained in how to use it, get a Nevada CCW permit, and continue your firearms training as part of a defensive lifestyle.
